We’re proud to be an independent, family run business based right here in the North East. Our showroom and factory in Peterlee has been helping people across the North East and UK get a better night’s sleep for over 20 years.
From finding the perfect mattress for your bedroom to choosing the right pillow or a new bed with plenty of storage, we love helping our customers find something that suits their needs and their budget.
But did you know there’s a lot more to Bishops Beds than our showroom?
We’re also mattress manufacturers! We make and supply beds and mattresses to Domestic homes, universities and student accommodation providers across the UK, with products also suitable for hotels, B&Bs conference centres, activity centres and holiday parks.
Our vast range of mattresses for your home, made in our factory covers everything from orthopedic, hybrid, memory foam and premium natural filled mattresses, something for every sleeper.
We make bespoke caravan and campervan mattresses too! Whether your sleeping space is an unusual shape or a non-standard size, we can help make it work.
And we’ve made some pretty special mattresses along the way! From bespoke mattresses for famous international footballers and athletes to unique customer requests, we love a challenge. If you’ve got an idea for your dream bed or mattress, we’d love to hear about it!
Whether you’re visiting us in Peterlee, furnishing student accommodation or looking for a completely custom-made mattress, you’ll find the same thing at the heart of what we do, a friendly, personal service and a genuine passion for helping people sleep better.
Thank you to everyone who has supported our business over the years. As an independent family run business, every customer, recommendation and bit of support really does mean a lot to us.
