History, Background and Vision
Christian Supply Chain Buying Group (CSCBG) was set up to support Christian and other charitable organisations. By helping them to save time, money and resource on everyday purchases, they can can release funds into their God-given mission.
We believe God calls us to be good stewards of our resources. So, by using the principle of economies of scale across our member base, we negotiate improved pricing and discounts through our recommended suppliers. Some of these suppliers are Christian, but all must align with our Christian ethos and approach.
CSCBG has been operating in the UK since 2014 and is a serving ministry of Christian Camping International UK Ltd (CCI UK Ltd), a non-denominational membership organisation ministering in the UK and the wider CCI Global family. It is linked internationally with CSCBG Australia, CSCBG New Zealand and CSCBG South Africa. The brand CSCBG originated with New Zealand in 2003, has a long history of providing discounts and purchasing benefits to its member base and has worked toward enabling the Global CCI family to benefit from their success. Profits generated by CSCBG UK are given to CCI UK to support its work within Christian residential ministries, with specific focus on impacting more lives with the gospel.
Over time, CCI UK is aiming to generate a Bursary Fund and possibly matched grant funding to support this aim. For example, the fund could help children and youth from disadvantaged areas to attend Christian centres. Or, it could support adults or families to go on a Christian holiday or attend conferences. Once established, matched grant funding could assist CCI members wanting to develop their sites and facilities in order to grow the impact of their ministries.

I have come from a background in sales, having worked for a stationery company and a hygiene cleaning company for many years. I am excited to have joined the CSCBG team after a career break to raise a family. I have volunteered in many areas of church life, from children's ministry, prayer ministry, running a life group and of course more importantly making tea. I have a passion for building God's kingdom, and have great satisfaction in seeing God's people and plans flourish and bear fruit, which comes, I'm sure from a love of gardening.
I am really looking forward to working with Christian organisations to help them reduce their operational costs and put that extra revenue back in to their ministry.
Richard Chatham - Business Development
After a career in sales and marketing and travelling extensively in both export and UK markets I am delighted to have joined CSCBG. As churchwarden of our small village church I am involved with many aspects of building up our church life-be it parish visiting, reading, cleaning or (yes) fundraising so I understand the financial pressures of small charities. I am really pleased to be serving Christian organisations to lower their costs, maximise their time and thereby enable them to optimise their money and talents for their ministry. I enjoy church music, sport, fell walking and gardening.
