We’re on a journey at Bidfood to leverage new and exciting technology that will enhance our service and give you a first-class customer experience. Our Qdrop technology is testament to this! Here's what our Head of Operational Change had to say about recently hitting 10 million drops on Qdrop:

"Qdrop is a key technology used by our drivers to enable efficient deliveries to our customers. The app puts key information at the driver's finger tips, delivery address (including links to a commercial vehicle sat nav), contact numbers, delivery notes and even photos of customers' delivery points – helping us locate customers and deliver to them safely.

We also launched customer comms this year - by customers providing us with their email address we are able to communicate the driver's departure from depot, provide a link to a live map showing the vehicle's location and, post delivery, provide a copy of any delivery variances with the POD. All of this is also available via our Bidfood Direct ordering platform. Drivers are also able to capture any delivery discrepancies directly into the app, which is sent immediately back to our customer service team – so we are able to react to issues as they occur.
 
There is more to come on this over the coming year, with improved customer communications on deliveries – watch this space!"
